After winning the Miss Virginia’s Outstanding Teen competition, Isabella began a journey that will take her all over the Commonwealth of Virginia during her year of service as Miss Virginia's Outstanding Teen 2017. She will travel speaking to audiences about her platform Find Your Passion: VolunteerMatch and acting as the official Virginia Teen Goodwill Ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children's hospitals. CMNH is the national platform partner of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization. 

Isabella is the daughter of Dr. Timothy Jessee and Melody Jessee of Roanoke. Along with the title of Miss Virginia's Outstanding Teen 2017, Isabella won a $2,000 scholarship provided by the Miss Virginia Organization, and a renewable scholarship of up to $23,000 per year to Hollins University. For the talent portion of the competition, she performed an original arrangement of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” on a 70-year old violin that belonged to her grandfather.
